A Sunny Day

April has been filled with one rainy stormy day after another. Yesterday we awoke to a pleasant surprise, the sun! Reilly and I went outside to enjoy the perfect day and blow bubbles. I was trying to get some cute pictures of Reilly chasing the bubbles but he was much more interested in screwing and unscrewing the bubble cap. So I got the shot of him concentrating on his work while the sun glowed behind him.
I also captured his precious expression when he heard the neighbors dog barking and did his own,"woof, woof."

Hangin' with Mr. E. Bunny

Reilly got to visit with the Easter Bunny last weekend at Hershey Park. After a few uncertain seconds he relaxed up and settled in with the old rabbit. He looks pretty cozy!

I Can Feed Myself

Yep...

Watching Dad

Everyday when Jeff leaves for work Reilly must run to the door, lift the blind and watch as Jeff walks to his car. It's perhaps one of the sweetest moments of my day.

Big Brother!

Okay, it's been awhile sine we've posted but here's something we hope is worth the wait. It's the latest addition to our family! We actually have the next ultrasound scheduled for about three weeks from so this photo is from March. Reilly is totally excited about becoming a big brother he just doesn't know it yet.

Snow Day!

We were hit with a big snow storm this week. While there was a bit of a lull in the storm we bundled Reilly up and took him out. He was enamored by the pretty snow. He was not so thrilled, however, when he would fall and not be able to get up due to the heavy boots and snow suit. All and all a much better experience then when we tried to introduce him to snow last winter. Let's just say he was not impressed.

Sock it to 'em

What could be more fun than pushing a bin of cat food around? Pushing a bin of cat food around with a sock in your mouth of course! Just a little taste of one of Reilly's favorite activities. The sock is just a bonus.

Rocktober!!!

It was a big month for our big one year old boy! Reilly turned 1 year old on the 16th. We celebrated with a jungle party at Long Park. It was a perfect fall day. Reilly enjoyed his first cake and seemed to really appreciate all of his gifts. He smiled and chirped with glee at all his new fun toys.
Reilly did his best to cheer on the Phillies even though they didn't make it to the World Series. He and mommy are secretly glad that the Giants did. Don't tell daddy!
We enjoyed dressing up Reilly as the Frog Prince for Halloween. He was a good sport and even enjoyed some trick or treating at the mall.

Our Big Boy!

Well, here we are at Reilly's eleventh month. It feels amazing that we are closing in one one year of having this little blessing in our lives. He continues to be a joy every day, charming us and it seems those around him. Having an especially intoxicating affect on the ladies at the supermarket checkout. With a sweet ride like this, who could blame them?

First Steps!

Reilly took some first assisted steps today. I stopped paying attention for two seconds and when I turned around he was off and running, pushing his toy car! I couldn't believe my eyes. I managed to recreate the moment a few minutes later in order to catch it with my camera. Hope you enjoy the video!

Summer Highlights

Although the relentless heat waves of summer '10 may have finally let up the sweet memories of fun in the sun linger on. Here are some of the highlights.
Getting up close and personal with my new sharky friend at the Baltimore Aquarium,
Grandpa and me at a Lancaster Barnstormers game, the Elizabethtown Fair where I got my first taste of french fries, yum! Finally me and dad riding the train at Hershey Park.

10 Months

It crawls, it reaches, it...stands! It's our 10 month old baby! Wow, he's almost not a baby anymore. Our sweet Reilly-do has been doing some pretty amazing things this past week. Not only did he climb the stairs for the first time but he also started clapping and waving bye-bye. As you can see here he is pretty pleased with himself.

Nine Months

Reilly's officially been out in the world as long as he was inside. He's been having a pretty busy couple of weeks. Last week he started swimming classes and also started crawling. Look out mom and dad! He's already broken a bowl and eaten some grass and leaves which mom had to extricate from his mouth. Finally, on Sunday he was dedicated at church. Hey, Jesus is still alright with him!

Heat Wave

Holy smokes it's been hot around Lancaster for the past few days, getting into the upper nineties and even hitting 100 degrees. It's nice to have a refreshing pool like this one. Who cares about the heat when you can look this cute? Reilly is also signed up for an Aqua Babies class staring next week. Judging from these photos I think he'll like it.
If you look closely at the top photo you can see Reilly's first two bottom teeth. They finally came through! No more biting mommy!

8 Month Aloha

I turned eight months old last Wednesday! I decided to celebrate by wearing this awesome Hawaiian shirt that my awesome Auntie Meggie and Uncle Tom brought me from Hawaii. They visited me (and mom and dad too, I guess) the week before. I had fun showing them the town while charming them with my super cuteness.
I'm still waiting for my stinkin' teeth to come in. One of these days...
Oh, and I'm crawling! I can totally make my way around the house backwards. Hey, it works!

Seven Month Stretch

I turned seven months old yesterday! I was so excited that I did a dance with my frog friend!

Then I was all, "Hey, ladies. Wanna party?"

And then I was all, "Mom and Dad! Take me to my first ballgame! And bring grandma and grandpa!" And they did. And then I was enthralled.

And then our team lost. I was really upset. But then it turns out I just needed a diaper change.

Trying to Crawl

Here's a video clip of Reilly's latest attempt at crawling. He hasn't quite figured out that he needs to add the legs if he wants to get anywhere.
