Nine Months

Reilly's officially been out in the world as long as he was inside. He's been having a pretty busy couple of weeks. Last week he started swimming classes and also started crawling. Look out mom and dad! He's already broken a bowl and eaten some grass and leaves which mom had to extricate from his mouth. Finally, on Sunday he was dedicated at church. Hey, Jesus is still alright with him!

Heat Wave

Holy smokes it's been hot around Lancaster for the past few days, getting into the upper nineties and even hitting 100 degrees. It's nice to have a refreshing pool like this one. Who cares about the heat when you can look this cute? Reilly is also signed up for an Aqua Babies class staring next week. Judging from these photos I think he'll like it.
If you look closely at the top photo you can see Reilly's first two bottom teeth. They finally came through! No more biting mommy!

8 Month Aloha

I turned eight months old last Wednesday! I decided to celebrate by wearing this awesome Hawaiian shirt that my awesome Auntie Meggie and Uncle Tom brought me from Hawaii. They visited me (and mom and dad too, I guess) the week before. I had fun showing them the town while charming them with my super cuteness.
I'm still waiting for my stinkin' teeth to come in. One of these days...
Oh, and I'm crawling! I can totally make my way around the house backwards. Hey, it works!

Seven Month Stretch

I turned seven months old yesterday! I was so excited that I did a dance with my frog friend!

Then I was all, "Hey, ladies. Wanna party?"

And then I was all, "Mom and Dad! Take me to my first ballgame! And bring grandma and grandpa!" And they did. And then I was enthralled.






























































 And then our team lost. I was really upset. But then it turns out I just needed a diaper change.

Trying to Crawl

Here's a video clip of Reilly's latest attempt at crawling. He hasn't quite figured out that he needs to add the legs if he wants to get anywhere.

Reilly's New Friend

Mommy and Daddy took me to Zoo America last week where I made a new friend. He was very sweet and loved being pet. He made me laugh when he opened his mouth and showed me all of his sharp teeth. What a funny crocodile!

Get Your Hands Uuup!

Reilly turned six months old last Friday. He is proudly able to sit without assistance (Look, ma no hands!). He has also started to cut all four front teeth at once. We have been experiencing a return to some very sleepless nights. At least we are getting them over with all at the same time. He has recently discovered our dog Henry, who is very funny especially when he blusters and sneezes. Reilly loves to go for walks in the stroller with mama and Henry. He continues to be amazed and delighted by all of the springtime flora. Now, if we could only train Henry to pull Reilly's stroller while mama takes a nap!
