Get Your Hands Uuup!

Reilly turned six months old last Friday. He is proudly able to sit without assistance (Look, ma no hands!). He has also started to cut all four front teeth at once. We have been experiencing a return to some very sleepless nights. At least we are getting them over with all at the same time. He has recently discovered our dog Henry, who is very funny especially when he blusters and sneezes. Reilly loves to go for walks in the stroller with mama and Henry. He continues to be amazed and delighted by all of the springtime flora. Now, if we could only train Henry to pull Reilly's stroller while mama takes a nap!

Grandma's Visit

Grandma Judy came for a visit last weekend. We had such fun together at the park while mommy got a massage. We sure hope she comes back soon!

Yum Yum!

 
Last night Reilly got his first taste of solid food. He took to it like a vacuum cleaner to a rug.

5 Months Old!

Mommy and daddy can hardly believe that I turned five months old yesterday. I've been spending a lot of time working hard on sitting up while showing off my double chin. Let's see you do it and look so freakin' cute at the same time.

Also, today I decided I was too old to nap anymore. That's for babies!

Reilly Discovers Laughter

This week I discovered laughter. Shortly after I discovered Grandpa's face. You can draw your own conclusions. Here is a video.



I also discovered my new cousin Max, when we posed for this picture at Grandma and Grandpa's house a few weeks ago















I have spent the rest of my time playing in my activity gym ....















... bouncing in my jumper ...



















... and tolerating pictures in my Pooh suit. But really, if you leave me in it long enough, any outfit becomes a poo suit sooner or later.

Shake it, mommy! Shake it!

I'm four months old today and I discovered almonds! Or at least how mommy can shake them and make me laugh. I've also been working on other important skills like making spit bubbles and raspberries. It's one of my favorite pastimes and I don't know why mommy and daddy won't post any pictures of my new talent. It's really lovely.

Another week, another pound

I'm 3 and a half months old, and I'm putting on weight faster than you can say "hot dog smothered in bacon!" Which is what daddy had for lunch last week.
I'm now 14 pounds, meaning that I packed on an additional pound in just two weeks. Here's what else I've been up to – besides turning over, which I did for the first time today.

I learned how to sit up like a big boy last week, so mommy and daddy gave me ...

... my first big boy chair! I love to sit here and chew on my teething ring. Oh, and by the way, I might be teething.

I also learned how to (sort of, kind of) stand up. It's one of the few sure-fire ways to get me to stop crying ...

... although I reserve the right to express my displeasure at any time.

But mostly I spend my time working on getting cuter. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.
