I'm 2 weeks and 1 day ...

... and it's my first Halloween! I'm very excited, or as excited as someone can be who has no idea what's going on or why mommy and daddy are laughing so hard. Here is my first Halloween costume.
I think I look doggone good. Sorry.

I'm 12 days old ...

... and I'm hanging out with dad and cheering on the Phillies. Chase Utley just hit a homerun to take the lead in World Series Game 1. Here's how I celebrated:

I'm going for the stoic approach. Phillies hoodie compliments of Uncle David and Auntie Sharon.
I also wore socks for the first time today – the first pair of socks I ever owned, bought by my Auntie Pam.

I'm saving my I Love My Daddy socks for Game 2 ...

I'm 10 days old ...

... and today I met my Uncle Brodie. Here we are together. I'm the one in the sleepsack.

And here I am with Auntie Pam. She made me a cozy jungle blanket that matches the decorations in my room. I like it a lot, and will probably take it along on a safari or two. I hunt rhinoceroses. Rhinoceri? I don't know.

And here I am with Pam, Brodie and my cousin Vivi, who is going to teach me all sorts of tricks. They tend to be out of focus, so if the picture looks fuzzy, just know that it's them, and not my dad's photography skills.

I'm 1 week and 1 day old ...

... and I just had my first walk in my stroller. Henry helped. I also met my Auntie Jamie, Uncle Jeremy and cousin Nora Bentley this morning. Jamie brought delicious oatmeal squares for mommy and daddy, but they won't let me have one. Meanies. Here's a picture of me with my pretty mommy ...

I'm 6 days old ...

... and I've picked up some new moves, like THIS ...

... and THIS.

It's a tough life. Today I met Uncle Keith and my neighbors, Dan and Kelly. The low point of my day was going back to the doctor's and getting my blood taken. The high point was finding out that I don't have jaundice after all. Another high point was eating. Every 2 hours. And pooping. Every 5 minutes. Mommy took me on my first walk outside. It was so exciting that I pooped again. Go Phillies!

Too Cozy

Yesterday morning we had an appointment at Maternal Fetal Medicine to run some standard tests they do with all post date babies. They check fetal stress, amniotic fluid levels, the placenta, etc. Well, everything looked good. I guess too good, in fact, for him to want to come out. He's made quite a cozy home and doesn't want to be bothered! We got to see him (sort of) on the ultrasound but it was very hard to tell one part from another since there's no room in there. We have another appointment tomorrow with the midwife to see if my cervix has opened more than a Fruit Loop and discuss possible induction. In the meantime I'll continue to take long walks with Henry and run (lumber) up and down the stairs.

Baby bump, month 10, week 1

We've taken a photo of the beautiful bump every week since week #5.

Here it is, in action at week #41.

Mad Men

This is what Molly would look like if she were a character on Mad Men (our current favorite show, competing heavily with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"). It's actually pretty close to how she looks now plus a baby bump...minus the cocktail...and the high heeled shoes.
Is it baby time yet?

Momma's Babies

Henry's going to be such a good big brother! We are still awaiting the arrival of our first baby. Although he was due on Friday the 9th, he is not listening to mommy and daddy telling him to come out. We have grounded him for the first three months. No parties, no friends and he can forget about that Miley Cyrus concert.
